Wessels Library is excited to be celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month a little early this year. Mental health is something that affects all of us and there are steps that we can take to make our minds healthier and to create a more inclusive space.
Mental Health Awareness Month got its start in 1949 and was created by Mental Health America. Mental Health Month | Mental Health America will take you to their official website with resources on mental health, ways to get involved, and ways to get support if needed. Mental Health Awareness Month | NAMI also has useful information, including this year's theme, which is, "In every story, there's strength."
